# For developers and publishers

We respect the people who made these games. This page says what GameFrame promises you.

- GameFrame never ships your game, its files or its assets.
- Every project made with it needs a copy of the game that the player bought.
- Where your game is still sold, our guides point players to your store page.
- GameFrame is tested only on sample programs written for it. Its case studies name the games
they study, credit their makers and link to where the games are sold.
- A project's published code is new, written from documented behaviour
  ([Legal](https://tanepiper.github.io/game-frame/legal.md)).

No developer or publisher has endorsed GameFrame. Projects made with it are independent of
the games' makers.

## If you have a concern

Please [open an issue](https://github.com/tanepiper/game-frame/issues) on the
GameFrame repository. Tell us what concerns you. We will reply. We will remove anything you reasonably object to.

If your concern is about a project built with GameFrame, contact that project too. Each
project lives in its own repository under its own maintainers.
